Ladies, it’s been a rough year and a half. With lockdowns, isolations, health worries, missing family and friends, you might be feeling a bit overwhelmed, drained, or just exhausted! (same, girl!)
There has never been a better excuse to prioritise some self-love than a pandemic. Practicing a little bit of self-love is a great way to care for your mental health and offer a pick me up at the end of long, ‘unprecedented times’ week.
Our favourite way to practice self-care and love is through beauty therapy! Investing in your beauty routine doesn’t just make you look stunning, it’s the perfect time to take care of you, body, and soul.
No weekend plans? No problem!
Try that crazy makeup you’ve been thinking about since pre-social distancing. Pop on your favourite Jeevi Brow Studio Brow Powder and craft it into that BOLD brow you have been too scared to wear out of the house, even to the grocery store! It will wash off, and you might find your new favourite way to do your makeup.
Research your favourite new Brow and Lash services and plan for your next visit to Jeevi Brow Studio. Stepping outside your comfort zone is a great way to boost self-confidence. Or go with your tried and true service that makes you feel beautiful. There are no rules in self-care!
Make time for you
Even if your pandemic life hasn’t slowed down, make sure you’re always finding a little bit of time for yourself. Keep up with your skincare routine, spend a little extra time in the bathtub, or if you can – go book that Brow appointment! Self-love doesn’t have to be a boujee, expensive task! Do what you need to do to keep feeling like yourself.
Zoom, Facetime & Iso
Locking down alone? Restrictions got you missing the ones you love most? Even though we may not be able to physically see our loved ones, thankfully we live in the age of technology! Give a Zoom quiz a go, have your happy hour drinks over facetime, or just call a friend to check-in. Social interaction is a massive part of self-care, so keep up the communication with your favourite people. And remind them to stay away from the tweezers!
Give yourself some credit
It’s been a bloody tough year, ladies. Whether you have achieved your goals, or put them on hold, you’ve done great to keep being your beautiful self through this crazy year. Pat yourself on the back.
Who cares that you are on episode 5 of Season 3 of a new show that you started today. Self-care is different for everyone. For some, it’s being a couch potato, for others it’s exercise, for some it’s beauty. All that matters is that you are caring for your mind, body, and soul in a way that works for you.
If you’re in lockdown, restrictions, or enjoying some brief covid free time, we can’t wait to see all of your beautiful faces in our studios across Australia soon! Keep your chin up, ladies, we got this!
