Brow Lamination

Brow Lamination: A Painless Alternative to Microblading

Your best friend just had her eyebrows done, and you’re dying to get yours fixed as well. Or, maybe you have been admiring a certain model’s glamorous brows and can’t decide if it’s airbrushed or real. Whatever the case may be, you want brows that are effortlessly beautiful and will be the envy of everyone you know. But you can’t stand pain, and just the thought of blood makes you want to faint. Not to worry, because brow lamination is here to save your day – and brows!

If microblading and microfeathering give you the shivers, there’s hope for you yet. Brow lamination is painless. This is because it does not involve any needle or blade, brow lamination has very little to no downtime. That means you can go on that date you’ve been so excited about and basically get on with your life as soon as you step out of the Studio.

How does brow lamination work?

You don’t really need to do anything to get fuller, more defined eyebrows. You just have to sit and let your brow technician do their magic.

They’ll start by cleaning your brow area and apply solutions to lift your brows and hold them in place. But wait! Won’t these solutions hurt your skin or dry out your hair? The answer is a resounding no!

It has nourishing oils to protect your skin from getting irritated and your brows from becoming dry and damaged. So, there’s really nothing that should stop you from getting beautiful brows that stay in place even after you wash your face.

What are the results of brow lamination like?

If you have over-waxed or overplucked in the past then have no fear as brow lamination has come to the rescue.

Brow lamination can fix your thinning eyebrows, fill gaps in your brows, smooth over unruly hairs, and add definition into your eye area. The result is thicker, alluring brows that look as natural as it can be. Here’s a bonus: you don’t need to retouch your brows every time you break a sweat or take a shower.

What happens if I already have full brows?

If you are one of those people blessed with full brows, you can still make this procedure work for you. Be prepared, though, because you might feel overwhelmed after seeing the result.

If you see your brows double in size, don’t panic! They will settle in after about three days. Meantime, you can play around with brushing your newly laminated brows so they look however you want them to.

Are there downsides to brow lamination?

We’ve already established that brow lamination won’t cause you pain. However, it makes use of chemicals that could irritate your eyes and affect sensitive skin. So be on the lookout for dry, itchy and inflamed skin as well. Call the attention of the beautician as soon as you notice any of these.

Make sure you come in and see our amazing staff to get the high-quality brow lamination of your dreams. We are brow lamination experts who can help you achieve your brow goals!

Is eyebrow lamination safe?

Brow lamination is safe, as it does not involve needles piercing your skin. Don’t use a Retinol or topical acne treatments for at least 48 hours before the procedure, as these products can sensitise your skin and lead to irritation. Plan ahead so you can prevent your skin from breaking out. Get plenty of sleep, avoid touching your face, eat a healthy diet – you know the drill.

Arrive at your appointment with clean, makeup-free skin or allow us to remove it for you. You don’t want to trigger anything, so it’s best to consult your dermatologist before getting the treatment if you have sensitive skin, eczema, rosacea or contact dermatitis.

How often can I have brow lamination?

Your very first brow lamination experience was a success. You are loving your beautiful eyebrows, and you’re raring to go back for another treatment. Hold up! You can come in to get a touch up after 6 to 8 weeks.

Does brow lamination hurt?

The old saying “no pain, no gain” doesn’t apply here. With brow lamination, you have everything to gain sans the pain. However, some people who got the treatment reported mild stinging due to the chemicals. If your face is free of acne or broken skin, you have nothing to worry about.

How to find the best brow lamination professional

For some people, price is a deal clincher. However, if something is too good to be true, it probably is. The bottom line is you don’t want to entrust your brows (and your entire face) to some shady studios offering low prices.

Always ask about their licensing and credentials, experience, portfolio of work. Dig around for referrals and testimonials, as these are from actual customers who have first-hand experience of their service. They can best tell you if you should go for it or run for the hills.
